Utilizing nationally recognized courses, MTI trains your personnel to react effectively when presented with a medical emergency. The course information and practical skills that we provide are of great benefit to everyone both while at work and when they are on their own time.

PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL STAFF
MTI employs certified instructors who conduct high quality training sessions. We do not offer the “streamlined educational experience” of a “one size fits all” class session, but provide a practical, relevant lecture & skills based training session with your needs in mind. Our professional emergency medical services staff utilizes the field experience and expertise of nurses, emergency department staff, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical responders. The vast amount of pre-hospital field experience our instructors have affords them the ability to reinforce the reality of what actually takes place during a true medical emergency. We use the book, but we also share with you what happens outside of the book on the street and what could possibly happen within your location
FLEXIBLE HOURS
We will conduct training at your location at a time that works best for you. If this is not convenient or is something that you prefer not to do, we host a monthly, no class size minimum, open enrollment Community Education training session at the Coon Rapids Ice center for both CPR and First Aid classes. This allows you to choose which option is most convenient for you and your staff to attend. If you choose to host the training at your site, we can offer that training any hour of the day, any day of the week: whatever satisfies your particular needs best.
POST TRAINING SUPPORT
Should you have questions following your training session: please feel free to contact us. We are here to support you after the session in whatever way we can. We believe an educated and prepared first response team is an effective first response team.

SITE REVIEW AND FIRST AID KIT ANALYSIS
Using a site review format, MTI tailors each class to the specific needs of your business. During the review, we gather information regarding the nature of your business and any medical emergencies that have occurred, or could occur, in your specific work environment. A first aid kit analysis is also available during the First Aid class session in order to educate your business on the most current supplies recommended for use in an emergency. MTI can refer you to a nationally registered first aid supply company should you desire to purchase first aid supplies. Our strength is in teaching lifesaving knowledge & skills, not selling supplies.
POST INCIDENT REVIEWS
As part of your course fee, Emergency Response Reviews are available to you. At your request following a response by your MTI trained team to an actual medical or cardiac emergency, and at a time that is convenient for you, one of our instructors will meet with you and your staff to answer questions and discuss the event. This gives team members a chance to process the very powerful emotions associated with providing care during an emergency event, as well as providing an opportunity for all to learn from the experience, which will better prepare them for any future emergencies. While ideally this review takes place within a day or two of the event, we will go to meet with staff whenever you call.
